Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in bridging engineering and operations to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure quality standards across fabrication, HVAC, processing, and modular assembly lines. This position will focus on continuous improvement, equipment optimization, and supporting new product introductions while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize manufacturing processes for fabrication, HVAC, and modular assembly operations.
Analyze workflow, layout, and material handling to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
Provide engineering support to production teams for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to drive cost reduction and productivity improvements.
Identify opportunities for automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Support new product launches and process changes, ensuring smooth integration into production.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on capital projects and equipment upgrades.
Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3+ years in manufacturing engineering within fabrication, HVAC, or modular assembly environments preferred.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing ERP systems.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Preferred Certifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
OSHA Safety Certification
