Job Summary
Georgia-Pacific is seeking Production Technicians at our Crossett, AR facility. The starting trainee rate is $18.76/hour. Candidates will work a rotating 12‑hour shift (including weekends, holidays, and overtime) starting at 6:00 am. This role offers opportunities for career development and advancement. What You Will Do
Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
Monitor and enter data into computer control systems.
Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of work area.
Work with a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and pulling for up to twelve hours a day in a loud/noisy, high‑volume environment.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment—or completion of post‑high‑school education in a manufacturing/industrial‑centered program.
