JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Responsible for the execution of the licensing processes and procedures at Entergy Nuclear.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage regulator's commitments. Interface with the NRC Resident inspectors and inspection teams. Maintain and implement regulations, including 10CFR50.59 and 10CFR72.48.
Prepare, review, and approve correspondence to the NRC, including Licensee Event Reports, license amendments, allegation responses, generic letters and NRC Order responses, and required periodic reports. Submit performance indicator data to the NRC.
Develop and revise procedures in accordance with current regulatory and administrative requirements. Coordinate SRC activities.
Enhance communications by performing a liaison function between various work groups. Participate in the shared resources program.
Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization. Interface with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station activities.
Communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:
B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree (eligible for up to 4 years of experience credit).
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of commercial or military nuclear experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.

None.
WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment with minimal physical requirements. As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime for these duties.
