Monday–Friday | 5/2 | 40 hours/week | Potential weekly on-call rotation

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Instrument and Electrical Technician II
to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems that support production equipment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while upholding performance and product quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with
Allen Bradley, ROC, IDEC, HMI systems (Redlion, Crimson, Panelview)
and a strong background in oil & gas facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Monitor, evaluate, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems to ensure reliability and performance
Plan and oversee scheduled activities in accordance with the Maintenance Program
Apply and follow permits through the
Permit to Work System (PTWS)
Provide technical support and collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams
Review control specifications, work practices, and contribute to improvements
Document issues, repairs, and modifications accurately and in a timely manner
Generate and steward
Management of Change (MOC)
requests for I&E systems
Inspect new installations, recommend upgrades, and ensure compliance with design specifications
Attend and lead technical meetings to stay current with codes, procedures, and new technology
Act as backup for the Instrument and Electrical Lead as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a technical field (preferred) and/or related technical training
Experience maintaining
instrumentation and control systems
in processing or production environments (5 years preferred)
Familiarity with
OIMS systems, manuals, and safety procedures
Knowledge of oil & gas facility regulations and safety protocols
Proficiency in computing and use of maintenance/operating systems
Preferred Skills & Traits
Hands‑on experience with
Allen Bradley, ROC, IDEC systems
Proficiency with
HMI platforms
including Redlion, Crimson, and Panelview
Strong safety orientation and commitment to operational integrity
Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills
Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting abilities
Team-oriented with ability to support cross-functional initiatives
