is seeking a

Radiological Technologist/CT Technologist

to join our highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Team at

Bridgton Hospital !

This is a Full-time, 36 hours per week, benefit eligible position.

The Opportunity The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.

Rad techs are trained to perform and become certified in both X Ray and CT!

Functions as one of the first line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Participates in on call, weekend and holiday schedules.

Qualifications

Prefer 1 or more years of radiologic/imaging and/or CT Scanning experience if performing CT.

Prefer CT Scanning Certification when performing CT or certification or secondary modality when appropriate for job duties.

Required -Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required- and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography.

Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification. Re-certification of existing employees is due within 1 month of expiration date.

Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy when performing CT.

Proficiency with X-Ray and when performing CT will have knowledge or will be trained of CT equipment, hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba preferred).
