AutoPayPlus
Technical Program Manager – AutoPayPlus
AutoPayPlus is seeking a hands‑on Technical Program Manager to lead software delivery in a fast‑moving Agile environment. This role focuses on execution, engineering coordination, and release delivery, working daily with developers, QA, and DevOps to move work from backlog through production. The ideal candidate understands how software is built, tested, and deployed, can partner directly with engineers, and takes ownership of delivery outcomes—not just process.
Environment & Team AutoPayPlus is a growing fintech company (~100 employees) with an in‑house engineering organization that includes senior & junior .NET developers, QA engineers, IT administrators, and a Development Manager. Our technology stack includes .NET, MS SQL Server, ASP.NET, Angular, and Apache Cordova for mobile. We use Azure DevOps for Scrum planning, backlog management, CI/CD pipelines, and release tracking. Our company operates on EOS / Traction, with established VTOs, quarterly Rocks, and Level‑10 meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end delivery of software initiatives from sprint planning through production release and stabilization.
Act as a day‑to‑day delivery partner to engineering, ensuring clarity around scope, sequencing, dependencies, and release readiness.
Manage sprint execution, velocity, capacity, and delivery commitments using Azure DevOps.
Coordinate CI/CD deployments, environment readiness, defect resolution, and post‑release validation.
Identify and proactively remove delivery blockers related to architecture, dependencies, environments, or resourcing.
Track delivery health, risks, and trade‑offs and communicate them clearly to leadership.
Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) with a strong focus on delivery and accountability.
Ensure backlog items are technically ready for development and testing.
Partner closely with QA to manage testing cycles, defect triage, and release quality.
Coordinate work across on‑site and distributed/off‑site development and QA teams.
Work directly with developers to clarify scope, sequencing, and implementation considerations.
Support engineering leadership by maintaining predictable delivery and clean handoffs.
Maintain concise delivery documentation such as release plans, timelines, RAID logs, and delivery dashboards.
Provide leadership with clear visibility into delivery status, risks, and execution challenges.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience.
3–5+ years of experience delivering software projects in a technical PM role.
Demonstrated experience working directly with developers in Agile/Scrum environments.
Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, including sprint tracking and release coordination.
Working knowledge of .NET-based applications, APIs and system integrations, SQL‑backed systems, web and/or mobile application delivery.
Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and CI/CD concepts.
Preferred
Background as a developer, QA engineer, technical analyst, or DevOps‑adjacent role.
Experience coordinating production releases and CI/CD pipelines.
Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP.
Familiarity with EOS / Traction operating model.
