Position Summary
The IT Support Coordinator provides high-quality technical support to Milken Community School (Middle and Upper School) faculty, students, staff, and parents. This role supports mission‑critical technology systems and classroom environments by delivering timely, accurate, and professional end‑user support aligned with the school’s operational and instructional needs.
The IT Support Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for IT support requests and is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and classroom technology issues. Support is delivered through in‑person assistance, phone, email, and ticketing systems, with a strong emphasis on customer service and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide front‑line technical support for laptops, desktops, tablets, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot and support classroom and A/V technology, including projectors, Apple TVs, interactive displays (e.g., Clevertouch), and conferencing systems.
Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group technology training for faculty, staff, and students as needed.
Coordinate and track support requests, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation of complex issues.
Assist with device setup, deployment, inventory management, and documentation of IT assets.
Create and maintain basic support documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with senior IT staff on larger projects, upgrades, and campus technology initiatives.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience providing end‑user technical support in a school, nonprofit, or professional environment.
Strong working knowledge of macOS, Windows, iOS, Adobe, ChatGPT, Blackbaud, Google, and common productivity platforms.
Experience supporting classroom technology and A/V systems preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Comfortable working with students, faculty, and staff in an educational setting.
Hourly Rate - $27 - $31.
