Responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining network infrastructure to support data, voice, video, and wireless services. Provides hands‑on support for routers, switches, firewalls, VMware NSX, and load balancers while optimizing network performance and security.
Responsibilities
Network Design & Maintenance: configure and manage LAN/WAN environments, VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting.
Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
Implement and manage Software‑Defined Networking (SDN) and SD‑WAN solutions.
Maintain fiber switches and associated infrastructure.
Optimize network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive upgrades.
Security & Compliance: configure and maintain firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet), enforce IT security policies, conduct network security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Wireless & Cloud Networking: manage Cisco Meraki wireless access points, ensure secure and efficient wireless connectivity, work with virtualized networking environments (VMware NSX, vCenter).
Support & Documentation: provide technical support and incident response within SLA guidelines, document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, collaborate with cross‑functional teams for issue resolution.
Telecom Support: provide technical support for Unified Cisco Call Manager (UCCM, UCaaS), troubleshoot circuits and ISP related issues.
