The Role
Lead aerial crew in daily work to safely complete jobs
Install and/or repair aerial cable TV (CTV) coaxial and fiber cable
Place, relocate and remove poles, lines, open wires, drops and block wires to maintain efficient operation of customer facilities
Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones and safety barriers
Direct traffic in accordance with local DOT guidelines as necessary
Work in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevated
Travel to various client sites, sometimes overnight stays as needed (up to 75% travel annually)
Prioritize, organize and efficiently complete tasks to meet deadlines
Resolve and troubleshoot issues
Navigate a variety of terrains, managing tools and equipment
Strive to provide the best customer experience every day
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
2+ years experience in aerial fiber optic installation and/or telecommunications construction
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
Previous experience leading/managing others (a plus)
Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements
Familiar with NESC safety guidelines
Ability to safely climb poles with climbing equipment
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities
Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs consistently
Ability to work with small components and wires
Open to varied schedules; evenings and/or weekends as needed
Ability to travel daily and up to 75% travel annually, including overnight stays as needed
Excellent customer service, time management, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated (bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, standing up to 70% of the time)
Ability to use gaffs to climb poles and build hardline on poles, use a lasher
Must provide a valid government‑issued photo ID for verification; driver's license required if driving involved
Passing of all pre‑employment requirements (MVR, background check, drug screen)
