About the Opportunity
A respected and rapidly growing defense firm is seeking a motivated
Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney
to join its litigation team, focusing on
Construction Defect and Insurance Defense
matters. This role offers excellent compensation, strong bonus potential, flexible PTO, and long-term career growth within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Role Overview The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload of construction defect and insurance defense matters from inception through resolution. This role involves pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations while maintaining strong communication with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of construction defect and insurance defense matters
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement conferences
Represent clients in court proceedings
Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
Maintain compliance with court deadlines and firm procedures
Meet billable expectations while delivering high-quality work
Qualifications
Active license in Nevada and one additional state: California, Colorado, or Arizona
Approximately 3+ years of litigation experience (construction defect or insurance defense preferred)
Strong legal research, writing, and case management skills
Open to reviewing more experienced candidates
Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $200,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
