About the Firm We are a growing Tampa-based collections law firm representing creditors in commercial and consumer collection matters. Our practice emphasizes efficiency, professionalism, and results-driven advocacy while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Position Overview We are seeking a motivated
Associate Attorney with approximately two years of experience
to handle a portfolio of collection and creditor-rights matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable appearing in court, and capable of managing cases from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of consumer and/or commercial collection matters
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
Appear in county and circuit court for hearings, trials, and mediations
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and pro se defendantsEnsure compliance with FDCPA, FCCPA, and related regulations
Evaluate cases for litigation strategy and settlement opportunities
Qualifications
Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
Approximately
2 years of litigation or collections experience
(creditor-side preferred)
Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage deadlines and a high-volume caseload
Professional demeanor and strong client-service mindset
Preferred (but not required)
Experience in collections, creditor rights, foreclosure, or bankruptcy-related matters
Courtroom experience in Hillsborough County or surrounding jurisdictions
