The AppMarket team within Stellantis’ Software Development organization is dedicated to creating innovative apps and services that enhance the driving experience for millions of customers worldwide. By delivering new features and connected services to customer vehicles, Web and Mobile Apps, our team directly contributes to Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan—transforming vehicles into dynamic platforms for new revenue opportunities.
Role Overview We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the end-to-end technical delivery of new software-driven vehicle features—from concept to launch—across web, mobile, and Android platforms. You will work closely with product owners, engineering teams, and suppliers to architect solutions, drive execution, and ensure high-quality delivery for both upcoming and in-market vehicles. Innovation and hands‑on experience as coder, tester or development manager is desired for this role as we look for multifaceted professionals with experience in one or more domains including OTA, in Vehicle Applications, CRM and Software as a Service or subscriptions management.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership - Own the feature lifecycle from idea/proposal through architecture, development, validation, and deployment.
Execution Management - Drive the software development cycle for assigned features, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
Cross-Functional Coordination - Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, QA, suppliers, and validation teams to align scope, resolve dependencies, and remove blockers.
Technical Oversight - Review and guide system architecture, ensuring seamless integration across complex multi-system environments.
Supplier Management - Oversee delivery quality from external partners, ensuring compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
Risk & Quality Management - Ensure DFMEA and TARA risks are fully addressed; track and close all validation issues.
Requirements Management - Partner with requirements teams to define, clarify, and refine feature specifications.
Effort Validation - Review vendor estimates and provide recommendations for approval.
Process & Standards - Champion agile best practices and ensure consistent delivery processes across vendors and teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related degree field.
Minimum 8 years in relevant Software product, program or development manager role(s), including a minimum of 3 years in one of the below Software domains (in-vehicle Apps, OTA , Web Applications with 100K+ MAUs, CRM or Software as a Service)
Proven experience in mobile applications and/or web applications.
Experience with connected vehicle platforms
Demonstrated success in delivering complex, integrated multi-system solutions.
Strong technical evaluation skills for system and architecture designs.
Experience working with onshore/offshore teams and multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication (oral/written), and accountability skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience. Experience in Automotive OEM or Tier-1 in connected services or Mobile Apps domains
Experience in one or more complex automotive domains (e.g., Infotainment, Cockpit, OTA) integrating multi-system solutions.
Strong understanding of agile software development practices.
Experience managing delivery across multiple vendors.
