Classification Title: Forestry Technician I FLSA: Non-Exempt FTE: 1.00 Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: None Position Summary: Assist with the daily land management and operations of properties owned and/or managed by the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
Ability to prune trees and shrubs. Ability to operate tractors and potentially bulldozers. Ability to assist with prescribed burning and other land management activities.
Physical Demands:
Prune trees and shrubs. Operate tractors and potentially bulldozers. Assist with prescribed burning and other land management activities. Driving as needed to perform job duties.
