Classification Title: Forestry Technician I FLSA: Non-Exempt FTE: 1.00 Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: None Position Summary: Assist with the daily land management and operations of properties owned and/or managed by the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

Ability to prune trees and shrubs. Ability to operate tractors and potentially bulldozers. Ability to assist with prescribed burning and other land management activities.

Assist with various land management activities on Warnell lands (i.e. prescribed burning, road maintenance, etc.). 35% Assist with various maintenance activities on Warnell lands and facilities (i.e. Grounds mowing and pruning, pressure washing facilities, etc.). 35% Assist with building maintenance and construction projects on Warnell lands. 15% Assist with maintenance and operation of the Warnell vehicle fleet. 15%
