Overview The Integration Analyst at Deaconess Health System is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting system-to-system interfaces in the healthcare industry. This role requires expertise in the Rhapsody Integration engine, Epic Bridges, Epic Interconnect, HL7 standards, and FHIR APIs. Integration Analysts will need strong organizational skills, excellent team communication, and a focus on successful project completion. Additionally, they will identify opportunities for process and system improvements to enhance system functionality. This position can be onsite or remote.

Key Responsibilities
Integration Development & Support
Build Rhapsody engine interfaces and routes, along with Epic Bridges connections and interfaces.
Collaborate closely with project leadership, ensuring thorough documentation and successful facilitation of integration projects.
Work directly with the Epic analyst team on application projects, Epic upgrades, and hospital go-lives.
Monitor interface work queues to identify and resolve interface errors.
Research and analyze new application feature requests in collaboration with fellow IT team members.
Epic & Integration Testing
For Epic upgrades, complete system build and testing as defined by the Project Manager.
Participate in vendor demos, platform selection, and proof-of-concept activities.Develop and execute extensive test plans for Epic upgrades and new application projects.
On-Call Support & Troubleshooting
Provide 24/7 rotating on-call support for interface issues occurring outside of normal business hours.
Qualifications
Required:
2-5 years of experience using one of the following healthcare integration engines: Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, or Corepoint.
Experience with Epic, particularly Epic Bridges and Epic Interconnect, is a plus.
General understanding of healthcare clinical and business workflows.Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CDA, CCD, X12, DICOM).
Working knowledge of HL7 message types and segment field mapping (e.g., ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, MDM).
Ability to develop detailed test plans for Epic upgrades and new application projects.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (preferred but not required).
Preferred:
Programming background in Python or JavaScript.
Epic Bridges and Epic Interconnect certification.
Rhapsody Integration Engine certification.
Corepoint Integration Engine certification.
Infor Cloverleaf certification.
