We are seeking an experienced
Tool & Die Maker
to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of molds, dies, and tooling for precision plastic injection components used in automotive applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and repair molds, dies, and precision tooling for plastic injection molding.
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on existing molds to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool designs and resolve production issues.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
Utilize a variety of hand tools, CNC machines, milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
Maintain accurate records of tooling, maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker in an injection molding or automotive manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with CNC machinery, mills, lathes, grinders, and other precision equipment.
Strong understanding of mold design, tolerances, and metallurgical properties.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in Tool & Die or related field preferred.
