We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a well‑established education company in West Los Angeles to ensure the accurate processing of invoices. The position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will require a strong emphasis on managing vendors with a creative/production background.
Pay range: $26–$30 per hour.
Job Overview As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounts payable function. This includes processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. You will also maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and provide support to our accounting team as needed.
Responsibilities
Process and code invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
Review and process expense reports
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
Prepare monthly accounts payable reports
Provide support to our accounting team as needed
Requirements
2+ years of experience in accounts payable
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP accounting software (SAP Concur preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
