About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Bowling Center, Fairchild AFB, WA.

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for manning the customer service desk and to repair and maintain bowling facility equipment within the bowling facility.

This is a Regular Part-Time position; guaranteed 20 hours per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for Air Force NAF benefits.

Duties Assists in performing minor maintenance on bowling equipment to include automatic pinsetter, automatic ball returns, speed cradle stops, automatic ball cleaners, hole bores, and lane maintenance machines. May assist with the cleaning and maintenance of bowling lanes, approaches, channels, pin decks, kickbacks, scoring tables and ball returns. Assists with maintenance of inventory records pertaining to bowling facility supplies, equipment and parts. May operate cash register, collect money, make change and issue receipts. Demonstrates and instructs participants on the proper use of equipment and provides guidance and instruction on bowling techniques. Opens and closes the bowling facility as required. Performs other related work as assigned.

Requirements

This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.

Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
