role. This role focuses on leading daily scheduling and planning activities for data center construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Base pay range — $103,100.00/yr – $141,800.00/yr —

The Electrical Construction Manager will support our data center project in Baton Rouge, LA, driving daily operations, ensuring the right resources, and maintaining safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Conduct project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.

Maintain official project documentation files and logs.

Perform onsite activities, including inspections, walkdowns, and construction or field administration tasks.

Review submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, and other project deliverables to support project turnover.

Ensure construction complies with design specifications and drawings.

Support the project management team with change management and monthly invoicing processes.

Track work in place and construction progression.

Coordinate and manage daily tasks to support schedule activities and accurate reporting.

Build cooperative partnership between client, contractor, and stakeholders to resolve issues and secure project success.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of construction site experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationships.

Understanding of general construction activity sequencing and execution.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and associated equipment.

Experience with 3D modeling software and presence on active construction projects.

Experience managing a project schedule.

Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance testing/reporting.

Experience with pre‑dynamic and dynamic walkdown and startup processes.

Knowledge of commissioning and qualification processes for MEP systems.

Desired Credentials

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Data center construction experience.

Knowledge of ATC, BAS, and process control systems such as DeltaV.

Experience with startup and day‑to‑day management of systems until turnover.

Experience implementing LEAN strategies and technologies (Last Planner System, 5S Construction, off‑site manufacturing).
