Job Responsibilities
Assemble hydronic components for coil kits using hand tools, fixtures, and shop machinery; assemble valves and connectors based on customized orders.
Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Receive and locate components used to build coil kits.
Resolve assembly issues and quality concerns.
Test valves and check pressurization of assembled components (identifying leaks, air bubbles, pinholes, etc.).
Replenish inventory of valves and connectors.
Maintain inventory of packaging and assembly supplies; anticipate needed supplies.
Maintain general working area cleanliness and safety standards.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in assembly.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to understand a Bill of Materials (BOM).
Technical ability.
Proficiency with hand tools, fixtures, and shop machinery.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience with side loader and forklift preferred but not required.
