JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Division of Technology and Innovation (DTI) is seeking a self‑motivation, detailed oriented Operations and Management Consultant Manager to join the unit. This position reports directly to the Deputy Commissioner of DTI. This position is the direct assistant of the Deputy Commissioner, supervising an OPS position and administrative assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities: This position is the office manager for the division overseeing all day‑to‑day administrative functions are completed. The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning, ensuring deadlines are met
Reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner
Tracking and maintaining logs
Cataloging documents, personnel related documents and posting of advertisements for the division
Reviewing and approving timesheets monthly
Coordinating meetings, reserving conference space when necessary
Onboarding new hires, workstation setup for new hires
Division liaison
Reviewing documents and creating and revising templates for the division as needed
Other duties assigned
Who we are looking for: Knowledge of principles and techniques of effective verbal and written communication.
Proficiency in using computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and with others as a team.
