SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Service Technician position at Canteen located at 700 24th Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis, MN 55414. Online applications are accepted only.
Full‑time schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8‑hour shifts starting between 6:00 am and 8:00 am. Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using a company‑owned vehicle.
Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service and resolve service complaints.
Visually inspect and listen to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to the problem area.
Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous maintenance or repair experience required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate a company vehicle for service calls.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and operating hand tools.
