This opportunity resides with Uncrewed Systems (UxS), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division, which focuses on unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), and autonomy software.
Responsibilities Plan the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for specific portions of the product. Prepare shop work orders, maintain progress reports and schedules, and coordinate with schedulers to ensure timely processing of items. Direct production workers by translating blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases. Evaluate tooling needs and recommend design and planning of required tools.
Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent 2‑year technical degree in a related discipline; 0 years of experience required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
Physical Requirements Job performance will typically involve minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
