About the Role Targeted HR Consulting is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
for our client, a fast‑growing construction firm specializing in complex commercial and industrial building projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing large‑scale industrial or manufacturing facility builds and is confident overseeing projects from
$500,000 to $50+ million
from planning through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
Lead industrial and commercial construction projects from planning through completion
Provide both tactical and administrative leadership across all phases of construction
Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance
Interpret and execute owner contracts, addenda, drawings, and specifications
Prepare and negotiate agreements, revisions, and change orders with architects, engineers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Lead buy‑out efforts, purchase project materials, and manage procurement
Review, approve, and track submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure accountability for quality, safety, and schedule
Assist with monthly billing, project reporting, and forecasting
Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
Mentor and guide project team members, promoting leadership development and accountability
Communicate complex or sensitive information with professionalism and clarity
Ensure adherence to all company, safety, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience
managing construction projects of increasing scale and complexity
Minimum 3 years
of experience as a Project Manager in commercial or industrial construction
Proven experience building
industrial manufacturing facilities
or managing
projects $50M+
Experience managing projects ranging from
$500K to $2.5M
Bachelor’s degree in
Construction Management, Engineering, Business , or related field
Proficiency with
Microsoft Project ,
Microsoft Office , and
Procore
Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, documentation, and labor coordination
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership ability with a track record of building effective teams
Highly organized with exceptional problem‑solving skills and customer service orientation
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, prioritize, meet deadlines, and deliver results
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial/manufacturing facility construction (required for top consideration)
Demonstrated success leading multi‑disciplinary teams and subcontractors
Strong scheduling and budget management skills
Advanced proficiency with project management tools and reporting
