How You’ll Make An Impact As an Active Part Assembler, you will be responsible for performing the assembly of the active part of the transformer and the necessary connections. This position is designed for someone with a growth mindset and a commitment to safety and quality compliance. You will receive specialized training in Large Power Transformer Manufacturing as well as cross‑train in new processes as you progress in your job role. You will gain unique and valuable skills that will set you apart in the world of Large Power Transformers.

Perform assembly of the active part of the transformers including coils, angle rings, cylinders, etc. and making the necessary connections

Carry out the assembly of the frames for fixing cables and busbars according to the drawings

Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and perform welding when necessary

Read and interpret technical drawings and work plans and perform final inspections and quality checks in accordance with technical requirements and standards

Plan and review the tasks to be carried out according to pre‑established production plan and manufacturing standards

Responsible to fulfill and/or support all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current systems [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.]

What You Bring

High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience.

Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements.

Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community college.

Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift License and a Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working in heights.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Other Key Requirements

Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.

Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.

Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on‑the‑job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
