About the Role

We are seeking

two experienced Mechanical/Thermal Liquid Cooling NPI Engineers

to lead the introduction of advanced liquid‑cooled switch products into production. This role focuses on

mechanical design ,

thermal management , and

scaling liquid cooling solutions

for high‑performance networking equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive mechanical and thermal design for liquid‑cooled switches from concept through production release.

Implement and validate liquid cooling systems, including cold plates, vapor chambers, heat pipes, and fluid delivery components.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of designs.

Develop and release high‑level mechanical assemblies and BOMs for production.

Oversee fluid delivery systems at both facility and system levels.

Support NPI processes, including prototype builds, DFM reviews, and ramp to volume manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.

10+ years

experience introducing complex mechanical products into manufacturing environments.

Proven expertise in thermal and liquid cooling implementation and scaling to production.

Strong understanding of mechanical commodities: Copper heatsinks with vapor chambers and/or heat pipes.

Cold plates, liquid fittings, and fluid delivery systems.

Experience with facility‑level and system‑level fluid delivery design.

Demonstrated success in releasing high‑level assemblies for products similar to Arista’s networking hardware.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional projects.
