Position Summary Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting in Concord NH. The DSP will assist with daily activities, including household chores, meal preparation, recreational activities, learning activities, and physical fitness activities. They will represent the needs, wants, and interests of the individuals served and provide input on program planning and implementation. Assist with transportation to community activities, helping individuals build valuable life skills. Transportation may involve a company vehicle or a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
Compensation & Schedule Pay: $18.00-$19.20 per hour based on education and experience.
Hours: Per Diem, between the hours of M-F 9a-3p.
Qualifications
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting strongly preferred.
Basic computer skills, experience using therapy software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping others.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid US driver’s license and auto insurance required, with at least 3 years of driving experience. Access to reliable transportation is required, and some positions may require the use of a personal vehicle to transport supported individuals.
