PPS-HPS
PPS is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the overnight shift at our new aluminum extrusion facility in Phoenix. The Production Supervisor has direct responsibility to safely lead and manage the extrusion and packing departments for their shift, coordinating with management on daily requirements and establishing plans to accommodate those goals with their production teams. This is a full‑time, permanent, direct hire opportunity with a highly competitive compensation package and room for growth!
Job Responsibilities
Work with management to plan and coordinate production to meet goals.
Manage graveyard shift personnel including scheduling, time sheets, and time‑off requests.
Maintain equipment and keep equipment running reliably and efficiently.
Maintain full working knowledge of all the equipment in the facility.
Review and follow work orders and best practice requirements, following customer specifications and quality requirements.
Adhere to and promote all safety requirements.
Familiarity with aluminum standards.
Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing/industrial field.
A college degree or equivalent experience.
Education and experience in safety, quality, and Lean manufacturing.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Metals extrusion experience is highly preferred.
