Delivers quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs. Reports observed patient changes and needs to the registered nurse accurately and in a timely manner. Demonstrates effective use of clinical strategies to ensure patient and associate safety. Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the healthcare team using appropriate communication techniques. Documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed, and reports findings promptly to the registered nurse. Qualifications
High School Grad or Equiv (Required) Technical/Vocational School Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement Certified Health Unit Coordinator (CHUC) - Accredited Issuing Body Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Pay Range
