The Role We’re looking for an
IT Specialist
to support the day-to-day technology needs of CompanyCam. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, this role focuses on operational IT support, device management, and ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and easy for teammates to use.
You’ll be responsible for supporting end users, preparing and maintaining devices, administering systems, and helping keep CompanyCam running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has strong technical fundamentals, and brings a friendly, service-oriented approach to IT support.
Location:
Employees are expected to work at least 3 days a week in our HQ office.
What You'll Do
Configure, deploy, and support workstations and mobile devices for employees
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and operating systems
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software across the organization
Manage device inventory, documentation, and change management processes
Support day-to-day network operations and assist with basic network troubleshooting
Administer user accounts, access, and permissions across internal systems
Regularly evaluate and improve IT systems to ensure they meet business needs
Policy, Security, and Education
Ensure company data is stored securely and backed up regularly
Enforce cybersecurity, endpoint protection, and IT usage policies
Oversee data backup practices and loss prevention measures
Educate teammates on cybersecurity awareness and best practices
Support and manage Apple devices and related hardware and software

What You'll Bring
High school diploma required
Degree in computer science or a related field preferred
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software, with an emphasis on Apple products preferred
Familiarity with identity management, MDM services, and internal communication tools
Administrative experience with tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro, or CrowdStrike is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of data storage, backup, and security best practices
Professional, personable demeanor with a strong customer service mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to IT systems and data security
A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.
Benefits & Compensation This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting salary range is
$50,000-$60,000
per year and is based on experience. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
