Centre Technologies
Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the daily functions of the HR department, including recruiting and onboarding, organizing trainings, administering benefits and leaves, and ensuring compliance with Centre Technologies policies and procedures across all territories. This role partners with the HR Manager to implement key initiatives that foster a High‑Performance Culture while building expertise in employee relations, organizational development, performance management, and training.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Policy, Compliance & HR Operations
Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity in HCM; prepare reports and dashboards.
Assist with audits (e.g., SOC 2 evidence collection for HR processes), and ensure compliant retention, confidentiality, and security practices.
Contribute to policy updates, communications, and change management for People Development initiatives.
Manage employee offboarding: communication, exit interviews, surveys, and separation agreements.
Track compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory training (e.g., safety, anti‑harassment, certifications).
Handle employment‑related inquiries and elevate complex matters as needed.
Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review policies for updates.
Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes; conduct research and analyze data for assigned projects.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Partner with hiring managers to run intake, define requirements, create/post job ads, source candidates, screen, schedule interviews, and coordinate offers.
Maintain requisition pipelines and interview logistics in the ATS and ensure hiring workflows, notes, and tags are complete; integrate with HCM for smooth handoff to HRIS.
Track recruiting KPIs (time to fill, source of hire, offer acceptance) and provide regular updates.
Prepare and issue job offers, promotion letters and job changes to ensure accuracy and compliance with compensation guidelines.
Onboarding & New Hire Orientation
Own end‑to‑end onboarding: preboarding communication, background screening, I9/E‑Verify, new hire paperwork, device/account requests, and day one readiness.
Plan and deliver Centre’s New Hire Orientation, including culture, policies, and systems training; coordinate with IT and managers for role‑specific ramp plans.
Monitor completion of mandatory training and acknowledgments (e.g., security, compliance, benefits).
Benefits Administration
Support benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and status changes; educate employees on coverage, plan navigation, and timelines.
Coordinate leaves of absence and related documentation in alignment with Centre processes; ensure accurate HRIS/Payroll updates.
Support auditing ACA, 401k and EEOC compliance.
Employee Relations & Manager Support
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers; coach on performance, expectations, and policy interpretation.
Lead culture initiatives in the Centre offices.
Document Employee Relations matters, conduct fact‑finding, and partner on corrective actions/PIPs; elevate as appropriate.
Promote a respectful, inclusive workplace and ensure consistent application of policies across Texas and Oklahoma locations.
Office Administration
Welcome visitors to the Austin office and provide a professional, friendly reception experience.
Coordinate office functions and events, including team gatherings and celebrations.
Maintain office supplies, snacks, and coffee inventory; keep common areas organized and stocked.
Liaise with vendors for office services and assist with facility‑related requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or equivalent.
2+ years’ experience in Human Resources.
2‑3+ years’ experience with HR Compliance.
2‑3+ years’ experience with Employee Relations Management.
2‑3+ years’ experience with Employee Onboarding.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required.
