AI / ML Engineer Financial Services
Location:
Auburn Hills, MI, Farmington Hills, MI or Frisco, TX
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and deploy production‑grade machine learning models supporting risk management, fraud detection, customer analytics, and operational efficiency within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, and deploy ML models using Python and modern ML frameworks
Partner with Data Engineering teams to consume governed data pipelines
Implement model monitoring, performance tracking, and drift detection
Collaborate with Model Risk and Compliance teams to ensure explainability and fairness
Support re‑training and optimization of models as business and regulatory requirements evolve
Required Qualifications
5+ years experience in applied machine learning or data science
Strong Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
Experience deploying models into production environments
Familiarity with explainability techniques (e.g., SHAP, LIME)
Experience in financial services
Nice to Have
Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or Google Cloud Platform Vertex
Fraud, credit, AML, or customer analytics experience
