Minimum Qualifications: Four (4) years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting or financial management, two (2) of which must have been experience with processing expenditures, billing or financial reports
Requirements: Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, between 8:00am and 5:00pm, up to 40 hours a week. Not eligible for Telework.

Position Overview and Responsibilities: Primary duties in the Warrants and Vouchers Unit:
Run daily voucher file, Prepare and distribute daily warrants; Research outstanding warrants; Process warrants cancellations, stop payments and request for duplicates; Prepare Outstanding Warrant Report; Request copies of cashed warrants from the Treasury
Establish and maintain logs for duplicate, cancellation, and stop payment requests, interest penalty; Laserfiche voucher issues; voucher returns; returned warrants; vouchers provided to DFS; requests for cashed warrants; and stale warrants
Serves as a point-of-contact for Statewide Vendor Add Files requests
Prepare and distribute financial reports to accounting staff
Prepare files for auditing purposes and ensure documentation is properly organized and uploaded into document management system
Work collaboratively with leadership to provide daily Cash Balance & JT Report, Bill Tracker Spreadsheet/Payment Log, and Audit Reports
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize data into logical formal for presentation in reports, documents and training materials
Ability to evaluate and analyze data; understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures
Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques and work independently
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
