Under limited supervision, acts as lead compensation resource and participates in developing and administering compensation for GBMC to deliver compliant and competitive rewards programs that attract and retain outstanding talent.

Education Bachelor's degree required. Completion of basic Certified Compensation Professional Compensation (CCP) coursework preferred.

Experience 1-2 years compensation experience including job analysis, job evaluation, or other related business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare experience preferred.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation‑related regulations including FLSA, ACA, and pay equity laws

Demonstrated experience supporting clinician compensation, shift differentials, premiums, incentives, and on‑call pay

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market and workforce data

Advanced Excel skills; experience with compensation survey tools and Workday HRIS platforms

Ability to influence and consult with leaders using data‑driven insights

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with HR Business Partners and Managers

Understanding of HRIS and Payroll related functions

Effective oral and written communications

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Leads market pricing, job evaluation, and pay structure maintenance for clinical and non‑clinical roles

Partners with HR Business Partners and leaders to resolve complex compensation issues related to recruitment, retention, equity, and compliance

Conducts and interprets national and regional healthcare compensation surveys and benchmarks

Supports annual and off‑cycle compensation planning including merit, market, and incentive programs

Ensures FLSA compliance and provides guidance on job classification decisions

Supports pay equity and transparency initiatives, including audits and remediation strategies

Acts as primary liaison with Payroll and HRIS for compensation‑related data, audits, and system updates

Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and documentation for compensation processes

Leads or supports special projects related to compensation strategy, workforce planning, and system integrations

Pay Range $66,165.54 - $112,481.42

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
