Job Overview HR Business Partner – California Operations Division. This hands‑on HR role supports leadership and employees, delivering confidential and high‑value HR services throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to understand the business and develop an approach that strengthens culture, improves performance, and enhances engagement.
Collaborate with the Delano‑based HR Operations, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition teams to seamlessly administer HR processes and programs.
Ensure consistent application of programs and policies.
Advise business leaders on performance and talent management processes to promote high performance and continuous growth.
Assist management in evaluating employee performance, providing guidance on coaching, counseling, and development.
Manage the resolution of complex employee‑relations investigations and counsel management on disciplinary actions.
Maintain knowledge of HR industry trends and employment legislation, communicating updates to client groups.
Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Foster continuous improvement and seek ways to improve workflows and processes.
Collaborate with compensation/benefits, talent acquisition, and talent development teams to attract, motivate, develop, and retain talent.
Provide direction to temporary staffing agency onsite representatives to meet standards and expectations.
Create an atmosphere of collaboration while supporting onboarding and new‑hire training.
Conduct training presentations to groups of employees.
Lead by example in providing great customer service and promoting a positive work culture.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Business Administration or a related field (highly desirable).
4+ years of progressively responsible technical and/or administrative HR experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing, warehousing, or food‑production environments.
Experience in workforce planning within a large (500+ hourly) population.
Knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience desirable.
Ability to see the big picture and roll up sleeves to execute tasks.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.
Strong confidentiality and professional conduct.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Compensation Pay rate: $70,304.00
