Relationship Administrator
Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking a
Relationship Administrator
for our Warrendale, Pennsylvania office. This role is hybrid, combining office and remote work.
As a member of the Relationship Management Department in the Investor Services Division, you will be the dedicated service contact between Federated Hermes and its intermediary and institutional clients—including banks, trust companies, law firms, back‑office outsourcing firms, and investment management firms.
What you can expect
Customer Service
Develop and maintain relationships with intermediary and institutional clients to understand their short‑ and long‑term goals.
Identify and recommend services, process enhancements, and efficiency gains based on client interactions.
Lead the establishment of new client relationships and new components of existing clients’ business—from contract negotiation and system setup to approvals and final onboarding.
Troubleshoot complex situations and develop sound solutions while applying strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Conduct face‑to‑face or virtual meetings with key clients to understand their business model and objectives.
Make timely updates on client activities, tasks, profiles, and contacts.
Review all planned formal communications that will be distributed to clients.
Work closely with Federated Hermes’ Global Account Managers and regional consultants to foster a cohesive client support team.
Product and System Knowledge
Stay abreast of industry and regulatory changes that directly impact Federated Hermes’ clients and communicate those changes to clients.
Maintain a general understanding of the trust, sweep, clearing, and record‑keeping systems used by our clients, as appropriate.
Projects
Facilitate and participate in client‑driven projects.
Actively participate in project teams for conversions, mergers, and acquisitions to ensure clients can begin conducting business.
Represent the business unit on new product initiatives with product development, providing insight on client receptiveness and operational considerations.
Policies, Procedures and Compliance
Secure and provide client information in response to compliance or risk‑management requests.
Document and communicate policies and procedures, including record retention, for all existing processes.
Quality Assurance
Solicit client feedback and utilize reporting tools to monitor and communicate customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for improvement.
What we are looking for
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience in the financial industry, or three years of business experience that include client servicing and operations.
Basic knowledge of market‑related products, funds, operations, and industry experience preferred.
