Position Summary The Aviation Systems Administrator will configure, maintain, and optimize aviation software platforms, primarily AMOS and FL3XX, to support Metrea’s fleet operations. This role requires a strong understanding of aviation maintenance programs, technical documentation, and SQL‑based data management. The ideal candidate will act as a technical liaison between flight operations, maintenance teams, and IT, ensuring seamless integration and performance of aviation systems. Work will primarily be hybrid, with occasional travel.

What You’ll Do

Administer and maintain AMOS and FL3XX platforms, including user access, configuration, and data integrity.

Develop and manage SQL queries and reports to support operational insights and compliance tracking.

Collaborate with maintenance and flight operations teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry and synchronization across systems.

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of aviation maintenance programs and workflows.

Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or internal IT for resolution.

Maintain and update technical documentation, including system configurations, SOPs, and training materials.

Assist in the integration of AMOS and FL3XX with other enterprise systems and data sources.

Provide training and support to end‑users across departments.

Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Participate in audits and data reviews to ensure system accuracy and reliability.

Familiarity with FAA, EASA, or military aviation compliance requirements.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

5+ years of experience.

Experience supporting Part 135, Part 145, or military flight operations.

MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.

Knowledge of aviation platforms (e.g., AMOS, Traxx, CAMP, Veryon, Ramco).

Experience with cloud‑based systems and cybersecurity best practices.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time exempt position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on‑call and available, as business needs require. Non‑Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

Work Location Tampa, Florida

Work Environment Work will primarily be hybrid. If any onsite visits are required, the job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones and tablets.

Travel Ability to travel up to 40%. Additional travel may be required based on business needs.
