We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a leading Company located in the Birmingham, AL surrounding area.
Basic Hiring Criteria
Verify hands‑on experience implementing and maintaining AS9100 in aerospace or 5‑axis precision manufacturing environments; ask for specific examples of leading certification or surveillance audits.
Assess deep technical expertise in GD&T, reading complex technical drawings, FAI/AS9102 reporting, full traceability, and documentation rigor required for flight/space hardware.
Test experience leading internal/customer audits, managing PRIME contractor flow‑down requirements, conducting supplier audits, and driving corrective actions/root cause analysis (8D, 5‑Why, etc).
ASQH CQE certification preferred and strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, quality modules (e.g., TipQA, Net-Inspect, Qualityze), and advanced MS Office/data analysis skills.
