Total Safety is looking for a
Safety Inspection Technician
to join their safety conscious team. The Safety Inspection Technician cleans and inspects supplied air equipment, masks, SCBA's, and 5‑minute escape pack.
Must have a current TWIC card.
Essential Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment
Ability to learn how to service safety technical equipment
Professional and neat appearance and positive attitude
Organizational skills
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to multi‑task and shift priorities
Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol test
Position Responsibilities
Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries
Clean, inspect, and service safety equipment
Fill breathing air cylinders
Issue safety equipment to customers
Build positive customer relationships
Restock inventory and maintain accurate counts
Abide by specific customer contract agreements
Be on call as needed – some overtime, night shift, and weekend work required
Perform other related duties as required

Strong customer service background
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Decision‑making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Ability to multi‑task activities and shift priorities
