Primary Responsibilities

Assist with design, planning and implementation of server and client operating system upgrades

Work with site IT teams to ensure network and security policies are followed

Investigate potential control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvements

Develop a set of reporting metrics and publish them on a monthly basis

Receive, triage, and analyze customer requests via telephone and email

Provide responsive and competent end‑user support for technology and application questions and problems

Support and troubleshoot network and connectivity issues

Support and troubleshoot stand‑alone peripherals (printers, scanners) and may oversee company phone systems including land‑line and mobile carriers

Configure and support PC, laptop, and peripheral hardware, including installing and configuring software programs

Diagnose and solve hardware problems

Provide subject‑matter expertise for projects; manage projects as appropriate

Keep abreast of current software and hardware technology trends and new technology

May occasionally perform special projects; perform other duties as assigned

Windows XP and MS OS knowledge and working knowledge of MS Office applications

MS Windows Active Directory administration

Extensive hardware troubleshooting experience

Creative problem‑solving skills with strong troubleshooting skills

Self‑starter with ability to frequently multi‑task

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and written

Ability to deliver customer service to users with various levels of computer knowledge

Identify automation opportunities by establishing rapport with internal clients and learning their processes and procedures

Document current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for automation

Develop and report business cases to management to justify project expenses

Design reports primarily through Power BI and interfaces using SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, VBA, Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and Power Apps to support the implementation of the items mentioned above

Define required inputs and process modifications needed to produce reports and system metrics and to support automation opportunities

Design and build “digital dashboard” to monitor key performance indicators for processes

Provide documentation and training for new process implementation guidelines

Develop and maintain applications and databases – specifically utilizing Power BI, SQL Server, VBA, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Power Apps – to support automated processes defined above

Perform other related duties as assigned

Fully on‑site presence required

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, or an alternative technology‑related field

Minimum of 6 years of experience, preferably with 3–4 years as a manager

Strong proficiency in identifying and evaluating complex network infrastructures

Strong working knowledge of Cisco, VMware, EMC, and MS Windows applications

Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects and working with various levels of management; experience working with globally located personnel is beneficial

Proficiency in team‑building and collaboration, verbal and written communication, and creative problem‑solving

Must have the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet expectations for required competencies in the position, which include: safety, health, and environmental awareness; business ethics and compliance; technical/professional competence and quality & time management; interpersonal relations and communication skills; initiative, flexibility, innovation, and adaptability; continuous improvement and problem solving; planning and organizing

Be willing to research, evaluate and train new process methods

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

Well‑developed verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Demonstrates prioritization and planning skills

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration or an alternative technology‑related field

Experience in Systems Administration and Network Management

Licenses or certifications: MCSE, CCIT, CCIE and VMware preferred

Strong background in SQL Server, VBA, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel required

Strong Project Management Skills requiredExperience in Microsoft SharePoint, Syteline (ERP system), Power BI and Power Apps is a plus

Proven history of automating business processes and creating effective support documentation
