Entry Level Architectural Designer
Dewberry Architects, Inc. is seeking an energetic Entry Level Architectural Design Professional to join our team in our Fairfax, VA office. Dewberry's Architecture Practice has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to begin implementing their design and technical skills to support a variety of exciting clients and projects. Our biggest attributes are our client relationships and the almost 30 professionals in the Fairfax office. You will be joining an experienced team that values great design and quality for each project. Requirements
Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture from an accredited university.
Minimum of 1 year of internship experience with an architectural firm.
Intern Development Program (IDP) process with goal of licensure.
Competent in Revit (BIM), SketchUp, and other modeling programs.
Skillful in Creative Adobe Suite applications Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Demonstrated experience with RevIt, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Established digital and traditional rendering and graphics abilities.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles; LEED AP is a bonus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Design portfolio or sampling of work will be required.
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check.
