Registered Nurse (RN) - Full‑Time/Part‑Time/Casual All Shifts
North Shore Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for all shifts, earning up to $48.50 an hour with shift differential.
Summary of Position Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care includes assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to North Shore policies, the State Nurse Practice Act, and JCAHO standards while maintaining a safe environment and supervising nursing assistants and helpers.
Responsibilities
Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Maintain resident/patient safety and supervise staff activity.
Follow North Shore policies and procedures.
Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act and applicable JCAHO standards.
Qualifications
RN with an active license and commitment to elder care.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
Capability to calculate drug dosage.
Meeting all health requirements imposed by law.
Positive, effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
English literacy.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company applications.
Preferred skilled nursing experience; new graduates welcome with training and support.
