Transition Consultant II – Gilbane. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and executing all transition project activities, either individually or supervising less senior staff. The role is primarily on the job site with occasional travel to the office.

Responsibilities
Develop project implementation plans.
Supervise and provide guidance to project staff.
Communicate information at multiple levels within the client’s organization.
Serve as the direct point of contact for the client.
Facilitate project meetings with owner, design team, vendors, etc.
Establish project protocols for documentation.
Independently identify required tasks and initiate activity.
Present information to the client to facilitate decision‑making.
Implement the Furniture, Fixture and Equipment plan.
Plan and implement competitive procurements as required.
Prepare monthly project reports including costs, schedule, safety, etc.
Monitor adherence to the contract.
Conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
Assert authority and decision‑making required for managing the assigned project or task.
Gain exposure to financial project management and accountability.
Provide direction to sub‑contractors consistent with the client’s direction.
Act as owner’s representative in managing onsite vendors during activation and move timeframes.
Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
Support a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications Experience/Education
BS or MS degree in related field.
5-7 years of project management or specialized experience.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio).
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Construction document and drawing literate with knowledge of all construction phases.
Knowledge of BIM360, CADD, Bluebeam.
Detailed knowledge of at least one TPM market sector (healthcare, government/military, research & development/laboratory, or higher education).
Ability to travel and flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
Salary will be determined based on location, skills, education, and experience. For Sacramento and Concord, CA ranges from $80,000.00 to $115,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
