Production - Grinding Operator
Evergreen, a Greenbridge Company, is expanding its rPET production capacity and seeks a Production – Grinding Operator. Established in 1998, Evergreen supplies polyester resin and recycles 1 billion PET bottles annually.
Location: Watervliet, NY.
Employment type: Full-time. Shift: 12‑hour rotating days (7:00 am‑7:30 pm) and nights (7:00 pm‑7:30 am), with overtime, weekends and holidays.
Salary: Approximately $18.56 per hour (annual $41,600 – $52,000).
Responsibilities
Weigh and label pallet boxes of unfinished materials.
Run the infeed part of the cleaning line and load out boxes at the end of the line.
Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping.
Perform duties safely, complying with all regulations and company policies.
Report system problems immediately to management.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and surrounding area.
Maintain an excellent attendance record and a strong safety and quality record.
Requirements
Safety conscious.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Ability to perform physical requirements (standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, climbing).
Distinguish between various recyclable materials.
Self‑starter with strong work ethic and minimal supervision.
Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts, overtime, weekends, various conditions.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Eligible to work in the United States.
