We are looking for a qualified

Maintenance Supervisor

who is dedicated to both internal and external customers alike. This role is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established.

Responsibilities

Overall supervision and coordination of workers’ activities related to the setup, installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, tools and machinery to ensure continuous operation of the plant/location assigned.

Development, implementation and day‑to‑day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation for efficient and high‑performing manufacturing organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOPs, Safety, etc.).

Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators to track and report performance of the maintenance function, including supplier performance, third‑party contractor performance, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness.

Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

Conduct scheduled inspections and assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in equipment and machinery.

Observe mechanical devices and equipment to determine proper functioning or identify causes of trouble.

Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for job completion.

Interpret company policies and safety regulations to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.

Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality.

Plan and implement a schedule of routine and preventative maintenance procedures; assign and monitor personnel.

Manage all third parties performing facility maintenance, upgrades or renovations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Five (5+) years experience in a production/manufacturing environment in a maintenance capacity.

Three (3) years experience in a supervisory role of at least 3 people.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching a team to solve problems and continually improve.

Experience with production operations and equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, safety protocols).

Maintenance technical expertise: technical degree or completion of trade school, or equivalent work experience.

Strong electrical and mechanical fundamentals. Coating or plating experience is a plus.

Successful examples of process improvement and kaizen.

Experience with equipment reliability and new equipment technology related to a start‑up, major or new model change, or product launch.

Skills related to industrial processing (e.g., PLC programming, controls, IoT data collection/storage/analysis, mechanical precision, vision system, robot maintenance).

Experience with predictive maintenance through condition monitoring (e.g., vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, current analysis).

Knowledge or experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles (Shop Organization, Visualization, Problem Solving).

Very good written and verbal skills and the ability to complete basic reports.

Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.

Self‑starter, able to effectively supervise work teams and problem solve to meet production demands.

Comfortable with computer systems and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e‑mail.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

On‑call and shift work required.
