Job Summary The Field Engineer will support the Construction Manager and Project Manager. Core responsibilities include implementing the project specific RFI’s, submittals, transmittals, quality control and inspection, minor electrical tasks, and ensuring craft workers perform as described in the drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Manage project‑specific quality control records and ensure required reporting is accomplished.
Plan, schedule and coordinate audits/inspections and document results.
Assist with material inventory and receiving paperwork.
Assist with final job closeout, as‑builts, job binder creation.
Assist with subcontractor scheduling and management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel 100% project specific.
Extended work hours and weekend work may be required.
Assist with RFI (Request for Information) submittals.
Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Basic accounting skills.
Excellent communication skills, ability to find solutions from problems, and team approach.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent (preferred but not required).
1–5 years of experience with field activities and quality control.

Physical Skills
Regularly required to read, write, talk and hear.
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel equipment.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk short and long distances, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds.
Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Regularly drive a vehicle.
Regularly work up to 14 hours daily.
Occasionally work up to 14 days consecutively.
Regularly exposed to various weather conditions.
