Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
At least 18 years old
Pass drug and background screening
Speak, read, and write English

One year of experience working with persons with intellectual, developmental, and/or mental health disabilities
Position type / Expected hours of work This is a full‑time position (40 hours per week). Employees work a rotating schedule, including weekends, as needed to provide direct support and supervision of clients in a residential setting. Employees must be able to work at least 8 hours per day with no restrictions and may be required to perform mandatory overtime.
1st Shift – 7:00 A‑3:30 P
2nd Shift – 3:00 P‑11:30 P
3rd Shift – 11:00 P‑7:30 A
Essential Functions
Ensure residents receive comprehensive supports and services to become active community members, enhancing their lives.
Ensure the safety, welfare, and preservation of rights of residents while interacting respectfully and with dignity.
Complete monitoring of resident activities across all shifts to ensure treatment plans and facility policies are followed.
Understand and implement behavioral programs.
Assist residents with opportunities to learn new skills throughout the day, including formalized training and incidental learning.
Assist residents with daily living skills such as grooming, bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
Assist residents with cooking and meal preparation.
Assist home‑management staff to ensure residents have clean, fitting clothing and are appropriately dressed.
Support residents in participating in special occasions, routine shopping, outings, religious and recreational activities, medical appointments, and other recreational activities.
Maintain comprehensive, confidential documentation throughout the day.
Assist residents with on‑ and off‑ground employment and Enrichment Center activities.
Work at least 8 hours per day with no restrictions and accept mandatory overtime as required.
