Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr – $60,000.00/yr.
Shift: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m., 5 days a week, onsite.
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an integral part of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems, production machines, and other equipment. This is a permanent, full‑time position that offers competitive pay and benefits. The role requires a strong technical acumen and a commitment to ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, with a particular focus on conveyor systems.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults with mechanical and electrical systems.
Responding swiftly and effectively to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts and materials used.
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Coordinating with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance tasks.
Recommending improvements to maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of conveyor systems.
A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
The ability to work overnight shifts and respond to call‑outs as required.
High school diploma or equivalent required, with further technical or vocational training preferred.
Certification in a relevant field, such as industrial maintenance, is a plus.
