Salary/Hourly Rate
$150k - $180k, Based on market data and role responsibilities.
Position Overview
The Controller will direct financial activities, including planning, procurement, and investments for the organization. This role ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, manages financial operations, and supports strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Direct financial operations and activities for the manufacturing facility.
Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses.
Delegate authority for receipt, disbursement, banking, and custody of funds.
Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and external accounting personnel.
Monitor financial activities, cash flow, and reserve levels.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements.
Recommend organizational process or policy changes.
Analyze data and provide financial reports to management.
Required Experience/Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or controlling, preferably in manufacturing.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 50, Hyperion Enterprise).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to delegate and manage financial operations.
Preferred Experience/Skills
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, NetSuite).
Prior exposure to manufacturing industry financial practices.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in process improvement and policy development.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
