Working closely with faculty, staff, and technical teams, the ETIS supports the full course development cycle—whether in‑person, online, or hybrid—from setting up enrollment and organizing content to system monitoring, quality assurance, and data analysis. This work ensures that technology solutions for learning are effective, accessible, and continuously improved. Translate instructional goals into effective course structures and advise on integrating technology to support learning outcomes. Format and convert course content into compatible formats (e.g., SCORM, HTML, PDF) optimized for both desktop and mobile platforms. Upload, organize, tag and publish course materials in the JSOU eCampus system; notify course directors upon release. Review and audit course content for accuracy, usability, accessibility and formatting; conduct link testing and media playback checks. Support course review preparations, including Education Review Boards (ERBs) and Department Review Boards (DRBs). Coordinate and manage pilot launches; gather feedback, resolve issues and implement course revisions. Configure course schedules, enrollment settings, and student rosters; assist with registration and resolve access or login issues. Manage user accounts and roles in the eCampus platform, including creation, updates, deactivation and permissions oversight. Monitor system performance, apply routine software updates and patches, and coordinate backups with IT support. Report and assist in restoring service outages; identify and resolve system and course–related technical issues. Provide Tier 1 support for users experiencing system, access or functionality issues; escape unresolved problems as needed. Maintain secure handling of student and faculty data; archive, back up or remove content as directed. Implement cybersecurity measures; conduct system audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance and data integrity. Track and analyze course engagement and system usage; generate reports and present findings in accessible visual formats. Facilitate communication between faculty, instructional design, IT and student services, lead planning and onboarding sessions. Deliver faculty training and support professional development in educational technology tools and systems. Collect and analyze user feedback to inform ongoing platform and support improvements. Research and recommend emerging technologies that align with JSOU’s instructional goals, design and test pilot programs and upgrades. Qualifications
