Commission Analyst II – UMB Bank
The Corporate Commissions team utilizes data and different systems to understand what UMB products are sold and the profitability of the sale to determine the incentive that needs to be paid out to the UMB employee. The Commission Analyst II is responsible for calculating monthly, quarterly, and yearly, moderate to highly complex incentive compensation program payments. This involves interpreting and implementing multiple and varied incentive program documents, as well as being a key resource to provide incentive payment guidance on behalf of all parties involved in the incentive plan process – the employee, HR, compliance, legal and line of business leaders.
Responsibilities
Obtain, validate, & maintain data and information to be used in calculations
Prepare reports used for review and approval of incentive payments
Prepare ad hoc analysis on incentive payment plans
Assist managers and associates with questions on their incentive payments
Research and resolve issues with data and payments
Assist in the development of reporting and communication tools
Assist HR and Line Finance with analysis of incentive plan changes
Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or equivalent experience
You have 3+ years’ work experience in finance or accounting or related experience
You can demonstrate an advanced proficiency in Excel to create models, build reports and understand the relationship between the data and calculations
Compensation $57,760.00 - $124,170.00
